We have created a common laboratory with LISBP (INSA, CNRS), funded by the ANR, for the optimization of our products and the development of new water purification systems.
This is the first time that such a laboratory has been created. Named MOST, this laboratory relies on the cooperation of a research team experienced in the desalination of seawater through membrane filtration and Sunwaterlife.
The aim is twofold: to improve existing sunwaterlife systems and to develop an innovative solution for seawater desalination.
The United Nations Summit on sustainable development was held from September, 25th to 27th, 2015, in New York City. All 195 member states signed a Declaration setting out 17 Substainable Development Goals (SDGs), by 2030. These are part of the continuity of the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs), from 2000 to 2015, whose purpose was to eradicate extreme poverty in the world. Water remains a central issue : Goal 6 reminds the priority of ensuring universal access to water and sanitation, and achieving a sustainable management of water resources. Sunwaterlife is involved in this process so that “by 2030, access to clean water would be universal, equitable and affordable”.
